About

In the heart of Europe, Brussels is the perfect place for shaping digital policy. Here, I utilize my tech and legal skills to contribute to the European project with an open mind and a fresh perspective.

About me

My journey into the digital world began when I was just 11 years old. Like an explorer discovering a new world, I played with Dreamweaver tools and edited the Google homepage. That sense of excitement, of feeling like a hacker, has stayed with me ever since, fueling my passion for technology.

Driven by curiosity and a desire to understand the world around me, I pursued a degree in computer science and eventually became a cybersecurity engineer with a certification from ANSII. Keen on making a difference, I also volunteer with organizations like Engineers Without Borders.

As my experience grew, I realized that making a significant impact isn't just about engineering, but also about advocacy and policy policies. This is where the European Union plays a critical role as a powerful player in driving change.

While juggling work at a start-up and a Master's degree in Political Science from Sciences Po Lille in 2022, a new chapter in my life unfolded. Drawn to Brussels, I embarked on an exciting career as a European digital policy consultant. I now help companies and organizations of all sizes develop strategic advocacy by focusing on tech-related issues, navigating the complex digital landscape like a seasoned guide.

Why this blog?

As someone deeply immersed in the world of digital policy, I understand that even the most knowledgeable policymakers can sometimes face challenges when it comes to grasping technical nuances. That's where this blog comes in: to bridge that gap by offering a technical perspective on legislation and unveiling the untapped potential of public data.

My goal is to make the inner workings of the European Union more transparent and accessible to everyone, including policymakers and curious readers alike. By presenting compelling stories and expert insights, I aim to create a space where technology and politics converge, fostering mutual understanding and collaboration.

Join me on this journey as we explore the fascinating world of EU legislation and invite policymakers and citizens to navigate the ever-evolving digital world with confidence, curiosity and ease.
